HOW TO COME IN BODRUM
BY LAND : There are many possible ways to get to Bodrum. The roads are generally tarred and in fair condition However caution must be taken while using your car.
Motorists must be carefully to drive as this is a busy road. When you reach Istanbul, You can get the fast ferry that operates between Yenikapi / Istanbul and Bandirma.
The main road from Istanbul to Bodrum has an good network of tarred roads linking most of town centers and villages. Therefore accidents also occur regularly at this road as the result of high speed.

Legal speed limit is 40 km per hour in towns and villages, 90 km per hour on the highways. Any valid driver’s licence is accepted provided it bears the photograph & signature of the holder and is printed in English.

The follow route is ; Istanbul, Yalova, Bursa, Balikesir, Manisa, Izmir, söke, Milas and Bodrum. The distance is approx. 780 km.
Coming by Bus : There are regular services between Istanbul, Bursa, Balikesir, Manisa, Izmir, söke, Milas to Bodrum. The only inexpensive and comfortable way to come in bodrum with fully air-conditioned buses. However according to the standards and quality of the operator. The journey from Istanbul to Bodrum is about is about 12h.

BY SEA :
Passenger Ferries: Apart from numerous cruises in the Mediterranean, several foreign shipping companies have regular services to the port of Bodrum
Coming from Greek Islands ; by ferry ;
Chios (GR) - Çesme (TR),
Lesbos (GR) - Ayvalik (TR),
Samos (GR) - Kusadasi (TR),
Kos (GR) - Bodrum
Rhodes (GR) - Bodrum and Marmaris (TR)
The are daily trips between Cos and Bodrum throughout the summer. In winter time, ferries run 2/3 times a week. The ferryboat leaves Bodrum at 09:00 and returns from Cos at 17:00.
The Trip from Bodrum to Cos Island takes about 1 hour.
There are also sea trips from Bodrum to Knidos, Didima, Cleopatra island, Datca and Dalyan.

Car Ferries: : There are several car ferries for tourists who wish to take their cars while sightseeing: Venice, Ancona, Brindisi, Bari, Istanbul, Izmir, Cesme, Kusadasi, Marmaris, Antalya

They are many airlines companies have direct flights to Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya and domestic airlines have regular flights to and from Bodrum.
The Bodrum - Milas airport is about 40 kms to downtown Bodrum. The flight from Istanbul to Bodrum takes about an hour.
